Branch President and Sister Olguin

Last month, we drove out on the "Campo" to the town of Junin, with President Benton´s Mission Presidency Counselor Oscar Abrea (on the left in the back), and his wife Mimi (in the black top). In Junin, we had lunch with the Junin Branch President Olguin (on the left in the middle), and his wife, Sister Olguin (in the blue top). (The Olguins´name is pronounced "Olgeen", and "Junin" is pronounced "Whoneen".)

The Olguins have been stalwart members of the  Church in Argentina for many, many years, and they have a great love for the Church and have served the Church faithfully.

At the lunch, Sister Olguin pulled two very old missionary tags out of her handbag to show us. The tags were from an Argentine Mission that the Olguins had served together during a period of their service in the Church in Argentina.

We had a delightful time with the Olguins listening to their stories about what Argentina was like long ago, and also conducting some business of the Junin Branch.

Everyone was very friendly and bonded well, including the couple sitting behind us smiling in the photo. Future investigators of the Church!

Thanks so much for your strength and example President and Sister Olguin!
