Buenos Aires Flower Peddler (Literally!)

This photo was snapped by Sister Lindahl, the Mendoza Argentina Mission President´s wife, when we were cruising through the streets of San Telmo, Buenos Aires, on the way to our recent South America South Mission President´s Conference in downtown Buenos Aires.(You might see the photo on the Lindahl´s blog too.)

To me, this photo is a good representation of the flair of the Argentine people. It seems everywhere we drive in our Mission, the whole area is teaming with life, from people to dogs, cats, pet birds, fresh foods, plants and bugs. Lots of people are always out and about on the streets, on their way to somewhere, and we always feel a vibrancy and enthusiasm for life in the air.

Argentines, on the whole are a very kind, loving, passionate people, while, at the same time, being quite industrious and inventive during their working hours. During their recreational hours, Argentines know how to thoroughly enjoy life in a miriad of ways. Whatever they are doing, they always seem to be celebrating life. I guess you could say they know how to "work hard and play hard".

We have certainly learned to love the Argentine people!
