We had LOTS of blessings at the "Casa de la Mision" before, during, and after the Thanksgiving (Dia de Gracias) holiday.
Before Thanksgiving, we had a visit from a few sets of parents of our departing missionaries, Elder Arlint (from Montana), and Elder Arnold (from Idaho).
My mother, Marilyn Chapman, my brother, Brad Chapman, and my nephew, Reggie Chapman, also visited.
Then, on Thanksgiving Day, we were greatly blessed to have our son, Aaron and his wife Brooke, and our grandchildren Chloe, Luke, Tess visiting, along with our dinner guests, President Abrea (Evrett's Mission Counselor), Senior Missionaries Elder and Sister Rawson, and Elder and Sister Mosaico, all the Office Missionaries, and Reggie Chapman.
Needeless to say, our "Cornacopia" was more than overflowing with blessings on Thanksgiving!
There will be more photos to come of Aaron and Brooke's visit, but we just HAD to quickly mention the gift they left us just before they returned to the US. A kitten (gatita), because Aaron was worried that I was lonely, and he prayed about it, and got the answer that a kitten would help me to not be lonely.
She's an Argentine kitten, from a friend of a friend of Aaron's here in Buenos Aires, and you can see from her photos how very cute she is! (The pillow is a leftover momento from the time when our beloved dog, Travis was alive.)
Thanks Aaron and Brooke, for loving us so much in so many ways!

and thanks for a wonderful time. we can't wait to come back!
Hola, We are sorry to hear you were sick and hope you are feeling better. You and President Benton are always in our prayers. Thanks so much for all you do. We have to laugh about you and your new kitten.(gatito) Our Brittany (Hermana Johns) has always loved cats and kittens. In Hermana Jensen's email to her family, she wrote, "my comp won't pass by them without stopping to talk to them!" In her mom's blog spot on her is a picture of Brittany holding some kittens. We're like "that's our girl." We hope all is well with you, your missionaries, and your family. Have a "warm" and wonderful holiday season. All our love and appreciation. The Johns family
