Sorry our blog was "down" for so long, but first, I got sick for a couple of weeks, then the computer broke for an extended period of time, but now, everything is "up and running", so, we can now proceed with our blog.
We have been working very hard on many fronts in the Mission, with zone conferences, interviews, baptisms, new missionaries arriving, and old missionaries leaving. President Benton and I have given speeches at 6 different stake conferences over the last 6 weeks, and our missionaries set a new record high for the number of baptisms at the last "transfer meeting". We are extremely proud of our missionaries, and we're happy with the way the work is going in the Mission.
Spring has arrived in Buenos Aires! The days are longer, the sunsets and flowers are gorgeous, and everyone seems to be in a good mood everywhere we go. Believe it or not, the sunset photos above were taken from the balcony of the ¨Casa de la Mision¨! My daughter- in- law Brooke, my nephew Reggie and I were just "hanging out" in the kitchen of the Mission Home, when we looked out the window and saw the AWESOME sunset, so we all bolted for the balcony on the second floor with our cameras to capture its beauty. (That's why you might be seeing the same photo on Brooke and Reggie's blogs too.)
"Happy Spring" to everyone! Now, on to telling you how our Thanksgiving Holiday went. (It's a weird combination to have Thanksgiving in the Spring, huh?)
