We said "goodbye" to 7 of our Beloved Missionaries last week, as they came to and end of their successful missions. Three were from South America, and four were from North America, including the "Singing Angels" of our Mission, Sister Petty, de Virginia, en Estas Unidos, Elder Cooley, de Idaho, and Elder Clark, de Utah. (Elder Cooley had to leave the day before we
took these photos.)
Our traditional "Mission Goodbye" activities include photos by the Rio De La Plata with our Mission "Welcoming Banner", a tour of the City of Buenos Aires, including a visit to the Boca Soccer Stadium, a session at the Buenos Aires Temple, and a send off at the airport.
We were able to glean some symbolism from our photo poses this time, with the photo by the fishing pole representing how Jesus Christ said "Follow me, and I will make you Fishers of Men", me & President Benton surrounded by empty seats at Boca Stadium, which could represent a portion of all the people who will "Come into the Fold" while we're here in Buenos Aires, and, last but not least, some of us embracing the "Heart of Argentina" at the airport before the departing missionaries boarded their plane, because there's so much to love here.
Goodbye Beloved Departing Missionaries, Elder Montalban, Elder Munoz, Elder Torres, Elder Arnoldus, Elder Clark, Elder Cooley and Sister Petty. Thanks for all the great things you brought to our Mission. We're already missing you alot!

That is great! We are looking forward to seeing Elder Stephens in those pictures soon :-)... Our prayers will also be with Maria at this time she sounds like a great lady and we are sorry she has to go through what she is right now.
We just wanted to thank you for all the love and support you have given our daughter, Hermana Brittany Johns. She writes of such love and gratitude for you and your dear husband. It is such a comfort to know that she and all your missionaries have a "mission mom and dad" to watch over and guide them. You are a blessing!
