Chicken Pox

Yesterday morning, we had a "farewell photo" in the dining room of our Mission Home with our Elder Moore.
Elder Moore is from Missouri.
Elder Moore had been staying with us at the Mission Home for the previous week because last Friday (September 24), he had come down with a case of the "Chicken Pox" and our Area Doctor, Dr. Hollingsworth, after making a house call to the Mission Home to diagnose Elder Moore, told us that Elder Moore needed to be in a state of isolation until his last "Chicken Pox" bump was scabbed over. Since President Benton and I had already experienced the "Chicken Pox", and since we are the "Mission Parents", we were the perfect candidates to spend Elder Moore´s isolation time with him.

After having so much time during the last week to rest, to eat,  to study Preach My Gospel, to study the Scriptures, to review all of the Missionary Training DVD´s , and to practice hymns on the Mission Home piano, we know that Elder Moore is now going to go back out to work, not only with greater enthusiasm and success, but with a renewed knowledge of our love and support for him.

During the last week, we have appreciated the opportunity to get to know Elder Moore even better than we already did. He is a sweet, kind, and very intelligent guy!

Adelante, con fe y esperanza, Elder Moore!!!
