Siempre Extrañamos Algunas Personas
This photo was taken in December, 2009. It´s of us with our Assistants, Elder Aceituno, Santiago Chile, on President´s left, and Elder Fox, from Utah on my right.
On the back row, left to right are, our Mission Finance Manager, Elder Maxwell, de Utah, our Mission Secretary, Elder Palacios, de Chile, our Mission Materials Secretary, Elder Gilmore, de Wyoming, our and our Missionary Apartment Manager, Elder Gamboa, de Columbia.
Well, this entry is entitled "Siempre Extrañamos Algunos Personas" ("Always Missing Some People), because, as of next week, none of these missionaries are working with us in the office anymore.
Elder Aceituno and Elder Fox have gone home, and the other four missionaries are back out working in the Field as Missionaries. They have all been replaced by other missionaries in our Mission, whom we love just as same as the ones who have left.
HOWEVER, we are ALWAYS missing the missionaries who have left the Mission Office, or have left the Mission to go home. This fact tore at my heart strings for about the first 6 months I was here, and now I´ve decided that it wouldn´t be a Mission if we weren´t ALWAYS missing someone, either our missionaries or our family members, so I had better become accustomed to it, and develop a stronger heart, which I´m still working on.
"Siempre Extrañamos Algunas Personas", a "tema" de cada Mision en el mundo!
("Always Missing Some People", a "theme" of every Mission in the world!)
