Here are a fews photos taken with other South American Mission Presidents at the Buenos Aires Temple, after the recent "Mission President's Seminar" in Buenos Aires.
The top two photos are of us with our "Class" from the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. ( We were all trained at the same time, and arrived in South America at the same time). "Hi" to the Lindahls (middle photo), who are serving in Mendoza, Argentina.
Sister Lindahl's mother, Ruth Brown, was my Relief Sociery President
when we were a young married couple in Houston, Texas in l972.
In the bottom photo, we are with President and Sister Olsen, who are Mission Presidents in Cordoba, Argentina, and have been serving for about 1 year. As Boston Stake Relief Society President, I worked with their daughter, Julie Miller, who is Relief Society President in the Boston 1st Ward. When Julie learned we were going to go to Argentina, she told me that her parents were serving in Argentina, and they were loving it.
It was fun to meet Julie's parents, the Olsens, and to find that we had alot of things in common with them, one of those things being that President Benton was once President Olsen's attorney, many years ago. (In "another life").
It is a great feeling to know that we have so many "Mission President Friends" now, who are serving in Argentina, Uraguay, and Paraguay,
and who are spending each of their days doing exactly what we are doing!
