Many thanks go out to Cheryl's Mother, Mariliyn Chapman , for bringing to our "going away" party a scrapbook she has made which details the stories, biographies and important dates of twelve of Cheryl's pioneer ancestors (5 on my Dad's side and 7 on my Mom's side), who made many sacrifices to travel in wagon trains across the plains of America to come to Utah from Iowa, and help to build up the strenght of "Zion" in Utah. (The book even has the wagon train rosters of the wagon trains they travelled on, the journal entries of many of the people who were travelling in their wagin train "companies", and short biographies of their wagon train masters. )
These pioneer ancestors and their stories of courage and sacrifice have helped to inspire Cheryl to go to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and strive to be like them.
Thanks Mom, for sharing their record book with us!
P.S. Uncle Bryan Chapman has all the wagon train info. of our ancestors on his computer, and would be happy to share this info. with anyone who is interested. His phone # is: 801-568-7011

I'm hoping I have set this up right. . my computer skills are questionable at best! (Just ask my computer savy grandchildren). This is a wonderful site; I'm anxious to read more! Again thank you so much for your generous hospitality at the reunion. The Christensen/Lacys enjoyed seeing everyone once again and celebrating this great blessing you have brought all in the family. Great blessing await others as you serve, including those of our family. Hasta la vista; quien sabe tal vez en Argentina?? Vaya con Dios todos los dias. Con amor eterno, su Hermana Norma
