Nine enthusiastic missionaries arrive in Boston, ready to get to work, accompanied by a Boston Mission "Assistant to the President", and President England, President of the Boston Massachusetts Mission.
It was fun to welcome Elder Baca, the Argentinian Missionary, to the Boston Mission . We'll be telling Argentina "Hi" for him in a few months!April 9, 2008:
Cheryl flew from Salt Lake City to Boston (Evrett was already in Boston) and it happened that 9 new missionaries were on her flight, heading to serve in The Boston Massachusetts Mission, including Elder Baca, from Argentina, whom Cheryl and Evrett met while they were studying spanish recently at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah.
What a fun and amazing coincidence!
Cheryl was able to "tip off'" Evrett about the missionaries coming to Boston on her flight, so Evrett parked the car and met the whole gang at "baggage claim", along with our dear friend, the Boston Mission President, President England, who was also there at the "baggage claim" waiting for the missionaries. It doesn't get any better than this when you are in training to be a New Mission President, and leaving Boston soon to serve in Argentina!
